Ages 13-18
Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
D2C is the youth group of C.J. First. D2C stands for Disconnect to Connect. We want our young adults to unplug from the world and cellular devices and plug into God. You can expect lively worship, games, a Bible-based lesson, and dinner. Come early or stay late for basketball and other games and activities.
Worship
We worship with either live music or Youtube videos to modern praise songs. We encourage the teens to express their love for God in any manner comfortable to them, whether that is just singing or lifting their hands in worship.
Bible Study
D2C offers a wide variety of Biblical lessons. Jon and Destiny may teach straight from the Bible, or use videos and small groups to get their point across. You can bet your teen will get a healthy dose of the Word of God.
Fellowship
Our youth eat dinner together every Wednesday night and play basketball and other games together. They go to youth camp in the summer. Throughout the year, they participate in other activities and service opportunities.
Meet Our Youth Leaders
Jon and Destiny Marlow
Jon and Destiny have led D2C Youth since its launch in 2018. Jon also serves as the lead singer of the worship team on Sunday morning and night and Destiny serves on the tech team. Jon and Destiny were married in 2011.
